Mon Nouveau Bercail fulfills its mission by:

• Helping newcomers with their settlement process, guiding them to the right resources;

• Assessing the settlement needs of newcomers;

• Contributing to their financial education;

• Collecting donations and distributing them based on identified needs;

• Raising awareness about environmental preservation through reuse and waste prevention;

• Organizing fundraising events to support the mission.

Intervention Zones

Mon Nouveau Bercail's field of action now covers the entire island of Montreal. However, the first beneficiaries of its services are still newcomers living in the Côte-des-Neiges and Saint-Laurent boroughs. These boroughs often serve as entry points for many newcomers to the greater Montreal area. By focusing on these sectors, Mon Nouveau Bercail is able to reach a larger number of people in need of its services.

In the more affluent Town of Mount Royal, MNB focuses on environmental awareness by promoting the reuse of goods, sharing, and solidarity.
